Dedicated to the Study, Practice and Support of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health.

The Oklahoma Association for Infant Mental Health (OK-AIMH) is the professional association in Oklahoma serving a diverse workforce dedicated to the study, practice, and support of infant and early childhood mental health (IECMH). At its core, IECMH is about three things: relationships, regulation, and learning. Membership in OK-AIMH provides substantial benefits, including membership in national, global and local IMH organizations, weekly OK-AIMH newsletter, and opportunities to connect with others in the field.

The intent of the Endorsement (IMH-E®) by the Oklahoma Association for Infant Mental Health (OK-AIMH) is to recognize and document the development of infant and family professionals within an organized system of culturally sensitive, relationship-based, infant mental health learning and work experiences.

OK-AIMH President’s Message

It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I extend a warm welcome to all of you as the President of the Oklahoma Association for Infant Mental Health (OK-AIHM). Our organization is dedicated to promoting the social-emotional well-being of infants and young children through a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach.

At OK-AIHM, we recognize the critical importance of the early years in shaping a child's mental health and overall development. As we embark on this journey together, our commitment is to provide resources, support, and a collaborative platform for professionals, caregivers, and advocates in the field of infant mental health.

Together, we will work towards fostering environments that nurture the emotional well-being of our youngest citizens. Our initiatives will include educational programs, training opportunities, and advocacy efforts aimed at creating a community where every infant and young child can thrive.

I invite you to explore our website, engage with our community, and participate in our upcoming events. Your involvement is integral to the success of our mission.

Thank you for joining us on this meaningful endeavor. Together, let us make a lasting impact on the lives of Oklahoma's infants and young children.
